Description

A seven-piece sake set made of Kutani porcelain, consisting of two bottles (tokkuri) and five small cups, each decorated with vivid red peony blossoms and green foliage on a cream-white ground.

The bottle necks are accented with a golden spiral pattern that elegantly frames the floral decoration of the body, while the small cups repeat the flower motif in miniature, creating a harmonious overall picture. The vibrant red and green tones on the light porcelain ground are typical of the decorative Kutani tradition, which is prized for its bold, festive coloring.

The set comes including a decorative wooden box signed by the master for storage and is excellently suited both for a convivial sake gathering and as a distinguished gift for lovers of Japanese porcelain art.
