Description
This Bizen ware sake set conveys a calm, understated mood through its earthy palette of sandy beige, warm rust red, and smoky gray tones – capturing the spirit of traditional Japanese sake culture in a distinctive way.
The set comprises a bottle and a matching cup, both entirely hand-formed and fired in a wood kiln without the application of glaze. The shifting firing tones arise solely from the interplay of clay, flame, and ash, making each piece unique.
With its simple, earthbound aesthetic, this set suits both traditional and modern living spaces alike and makes a fine gift for lovers of Japanese ceramics.
