Description

In fine white with a shimmering wave structure, the body of this Kutani tea set is covered with bright red and white plum blossoms, framed by delicate green leaves and ink-painted branches – a motif that has been among the most popular in Japanese porcelain painting for generations.

Each of the five bowls in the set was handcrafted from Kutani porcelain and hand-painted, so that small differences can be found in the details, of the kind only genuine craftsmanship produces. The fine, creamy white glaze and the warm gold tone at the rim of the bowl underline the elegant overall impression.

The set is delivered in a decorative wooden box signed by the master, which serves not only to protect it but also to store it in a dignified manner. Whether for daily use or as a special gift for collectors and lovers of Japan – this tea set combines everyday practicality with decorative appeal.
