Description
This sake flask appears gentle and almost reserved, with its milky-white Shino glaze that transitions at the neck into warm, rust-red firing tones – a quiet interplay of clarity and earthy warmth.
The flask was shaped by hand in the traditional manner and bears the thick-walled, slightly rough glaze surface typical of Shino ware, achieved through wood-fired kiln firing. Small irregularities in shape and color gradient underscore the handcrafted character of the piece.
As a stylish companion to Japanese sake culture or as a decorative one-of-a-kind piece, this Tokkuri Made of Shino Ware fits harmoniously into any collection of traditional ceramics.
